But have you ever made tiramisu with tea? Today we'll show you a fruity version of the popular Italian classic!
You'll need strawberries (of course, you can use other berries too), mascarpone, cream, white chocolate—and, of course, ladyfingers. No alcohol, no coffee—so perfect for anyone who likes fruity and refreshing treats.
For the sauce
The sauce: Wash and slice the berries, and combine them with sugar, 5 lemon teaballs dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water (you can also use lemon juice), and water in a saucepan. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. Then puree everything with a hand blender.
Now for the cream : Mix together the mascarpone, quark, sugar, and vanilla sugar. To give everything an even strawberry flavor, you can dissolve the Strawberry Teaballs in a little water and stir it into the cream. Whip the cream with the cream stabilizer until stiff peaks form and fold in.
Layers: Place sponge fingers in a dish (approx. 30 × 15 cm) and then alternate layers of cream, sauce and sponge fingers.
Finish the last layer with sauce and sprinkle chopped white chocolate over it.
Buon appetito! Ready, steady, go! Tastes like a vacation in Italy!
My tip:
You can also layer the dessert in glasses – it looks great and is
perfect for guests or a spontaneous garden picnic.
